In today's digital age, access to news outlets have become more accessible than ever. However, being granted such informational wealth comes along with its own challenges. Slanted media has become one of the more common issues among the media landscape, jeopardizing the reliability of information and further disorientating reality. 

Slanted Media refers to news outlets or platforms presenting favored political ideologies or interest. They can present themselves in various different forms such as selective reporting's and framed or altered stories, with the intention of catering to a specific audience or influencing. Ultimately, biased media generates favoritism towards a side of a story. An example of such is the ongoing controversy surrounding former president Donald trump. 

Donald Trump has countlessly been portrayed as a terrible person. Multiple news outlets have negative coverage pertaining his character and actions.  Even those who are supporters have received the same treatment. In a recent Interview with former RNC chair and new NBC political analyst hire Ronna McDaniel, NBC news host Kristen Welker clashes with her in a heated argument over trumps presidential run in 2020. Welker asked McDaniel question pertaining towards trumps actions such as why she would let trump spread lies and if she owed the country an apology. Welker is trying to bait McDaniel with these questions so she can slip up and make the wrong response which may further damage Donald Trump's image. 

Slanted Media poses significant challenges towards the integrity of news reporting and health of democratic societies. Certain censorship may be appropriate taking in account of the situation but understanding its consequences and being able to critically evaluate it will make us a more informed society.
